WARRI- The Director General of Revive Africa Initiative Amb. Ugagaoghene Ogheneyole N. have on Friday 4th November, 2019 in Warri, Delta state announced plans of the Initiative to launch the “Young African Volunteers network”, an Anuual 5day comprehensive Youth leadership and mentorship program that will cover fully packaged courses on Personal development and capacity building, business leadership and entrepreneurship management, the power of networking and social influencing, volunteering, community based need assessment, team leadership, mobilizing workforce, volunteers and funding for community development projects and change actions, personal branding, pear leadership, Public speaking, civil engagements etc that will prepare young African change agents for Global impact.

Addressing newsman after a strategic meeting with the Executive Director of Graduate Tuturs and Allied services (GATES) Pastor Ogaga Darlignton chukwudi in Warri, Amb. Ugagaoghene mentained that the program is an offshoot of his Organization’s efforts to build capacity amongst youth and prepare them for Global impacts through the provision of sustainable solutions to Global societal challenges. He further informed the press that the purpose of the strategic meeting with the Executive Director of Graduate Tutor and Allied services is to finalize discussions to engage them as the official consultium to power the proposed leaderhip programme for the next four years, while Noting that in few days time, both organizations will be signing a four years memorandum of understanding in this regard.

Fielding questions from the newsman, the Director General revealed that the leadership of Revive Africa Initiative has secured the approval of Hon Prince Ned Nwoko, chairman of Mount Ned Nwoko Resort and Tourism centre Idumuje-Ugboko, for the use of the Resort’s facilities as incubation boot camp for the program.

When Asked of the date for this proposed leadership development program, Amb. Ugagaoghene Ogheneyole N said the Programme is proposed to kick off in the last week of November, 2019 tentatively but clarified that further consultations with relevant stake holders will determine the conclussion on the final dates for the program and that the links for online Application forms will be available soon on the initiative’s website and all its official social media handles.
