President National Association of Yala Local Government Students Naylogs worldwide, Comr Oko Saviour Ohonyeta has admonished Muslim faithful and Christians in Cross River State to use this festive period to register and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2019 general elections.
He made this call on Tuesday to mark the Sallah celebration, where he revealed that the PVCs would serve as a gateway for any electorate to vote in 2019.
According to him, he said: “Politics is not a social platform activities but a field of play activities where your voters card play the game for you.
“I urge all meaningful Cross Riverians who are not yet register to take an advantage of the Holidays to do so. Voters card is the assorted weapon use in concarring your opposition during electioneering year as it will soon be.
“I thank The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the shift of formal date to the end of August to enable those who have not been able to register do so. I urge all youths leaders, students leaders, market women, farmers,business men,clergy men ,political leaders in their various place of leading to encourage their subjects to take an advantage of the holidays as well to register as a legible voter.
