Beauty they say is in the eyes of the behold. However, beauty can only be appreciated when it fulfill it purposes such as in the case of Emerald Nneka Okeke, a beauty queen who hails from Anambra State and studied Geology in the University of Calabar.
A 300 level student with the desire to becoming Nigerian Teen Choice Award, Choice Philantropist having been nominated for the award.
Known by her friends in Unical as calm and level headed personality, Nneka remains one of the main contestants tipped to clinch the award, having won Miss Teen Havilah South South 2015; 2nd Runner up miss Geology 2016; 1st runner up Face of YPP 2017; Miss Hospitality Ambassador Nigeria 2018; awards of recognitions l accross departments in Unical and Senator of Geology constituency, Faculty of Physical sciences, Unical.
Besides, she has been judge in several pageants; Beauty and skin care consultant; Pageant counsellor; Editorial model and Philanthropist.
The young and vibrant single lady, who has touched many lives with her charity works told Voplink media that she aiming to extend her charity works if she’s crown winner.
“Love to me is very beautiful but it’s difficult to come by. I can actually spot a short term relationship from the beginning. I feel if any relationship is worth starting then it should end well. That’s why I’m waiting patiently for my next relationship because it will be my last.
“I love babies; their innocence and tenderness.
“I love young empowered women. Makes me believe there’s hope in my generation.
“I love charity. Kindness and loyalty are my 2 gifts from God.
“I love travelling to exotic locations and meeting new people. Maybe because I’d be a geologist so I want to travel the world round.
“I love fame and single spotlight
“All these drive me to my watchword “impact the world through charity”
“I literally don’t know exactly what I hate because I can tolerate and endure anything except stingy and self-centered people.
“My greatest inspiration as a born again christian comes from the holy spirit. I do practically whatever the Lord lays in my mind.
“I also draw inspiration from great women like Joyce Mayer, Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Merkle, Folorunsho Alakija, and Angelina Jolie.
“Despite my incomplete childhood, I believe I’ll be successful.
