Nigerian musician, Eedris Abdulkareem says the currently economic hardship been experienced by the country was planted by the administration of former President, Olusegun Obasanjo.
Eedris who had in the past criticised Obasanjo’s regime with the song ‘Nigeria Jagajaga’, lamented the poor state of the nation’s political, social and economic problems.
In this latest attack, Eedris in an interview with Lindaikeji, stated that the former military head of state was the architect of Nigeria’s woes.
“Obasanjo served as a military president and also a civilian president.
“He had the opportunity to correct the wrongs. He was selfish and wanted third term by all means.
“His administration recorded too many killings and assassinations. He’s very selfish and wanted to rule Nigeria forever.”
