In a bid to ensure the safety of lives and properties in the state, Cross River State NANS joint campus committee Chairman, Comrade. Efenji Helen, paid a courtsey visit to the State Security Adviser to the Governor, Jude Ngaji on Thursday, as they briefed him on the level of the state’s security.
This came on the backdrop of the just concluded programmed carried out in collaboration with the Office of the Senior Special Assistant on security matters in the state.
Comr. Helen who was delighted with the huge success and turnout of the program, commended the efforts of Governor Ben Ayade in addressing issues on security in the state.
The the SSA to the governor who promised to give continue support to the programme, he however, appreciated the call made by NANS on the need to improve the state security.
“I thank the NANS JCC chairman for the Courtsey call and also advised the NANS JCC on the need to disabuse the minds of Nigerian youths as well as students on the defects of social vices especially cultism.
He also emphasized on the need to start up from the grass root which is the primary and secondary schools so as to reach down to the grassroots and further pledged his support for the movements
