The wife of the governor Dr. Linda Ayade has admonished the Junior Chamber International (JCI) to remain committed and result-oriented in their quest of training more youths in order to improve the growth and development of the state.
Represented by the Special Adviser to her Excellency, Mrs Rosemary Eneji, she used the platform to showered encomium on the decision of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) to have selected the state for its south south and south East conference.
Mrs Ayade stated this during her keynote address in the 2018 conference held in Calabar.
Her Excellency made the commendation at Tinapa in a keynote address in the 2018 conference held in the state.
She assured of the state governor’s total support and plan to partner with JCI so as to develop youths within the state to international standard.
Meanwhile, the National President of Junior Chamber international, JC Adeniyi Balogun and the President Calabar Metro JC Eric Akpo thanked the state governor prof. Ben Ayade for associating with the JCI Nigeria to bring members to Calabar.
They explained that the essence of the conference is to provide an opportunity to hold discussions that will shape the narrative of our nation Nigeria.
The national and local presidents said the theme of this conference ‘youth and the spirit of enterprise’ is most apt for this period of our national life.
Other members of of JCI across the nation express delight in the south south and south East conference saying the experience gathered so for will be used for the development of Nigeria.
The event featured burn fire night at the obudu cattle ranch,opening ceremony,white party and banquet night .
