Dear Governor of Cross River State, I bring you warm greetings on this beautiful day that the Lord has made. Your Excellency, I’m not unaware of your tight schedule during this period of your electioneering, but I hope you will spend a few minutes digesting this letter.
Sir, I’m writing you this letter on the background of one your faithful follower, Engr. Pius Kejuo Osang, an indigene of Boki LGA and a graduate of Electrical Engineering.
Engr. Pius is fondly called ‘Young Ayade’ by his associates, friends and family members because he wears your appearance, he talks like you, dresses like you, he goes to bed with your name, he wakes up with your name and start the day with your name because he sees you as his role model. His small car is branded with your pictures all round, even though the car has been in the mechanic workshop for months now due to lack of cash to get it out. His real name is gradually eroding away because he has adopted the name ‘Young Ayade’.
Sir, Pius is currently unemployed, he source for little electrification jobs that keeps him going as a young man who hails from the green forest of Boki 2 State Constituency. His working experience with the United Nations High Commission on Refugee if utilised effectively can help to address the many refugees problems lingering in the state as occasioned by mass movement from Cameroon over the demand for Amabazonia Republic.
Your excellency, in his prayers, Pius desires to be part of your robust government. He is humble, intelligent, a grassroot player and an easy going comrade with high aluta spirit.
He has taken your re-election campaign to all the corners of his community were his strength lies. Sir, you have released several batches of appointments since you assumed office in May 2015 with a view to expand governance and give the youths a sense of belonging.
In view of that your Excellency, I humbly appeal that you find a space in your government for Pius; by given him an appointment.
God bless you Ayade.
