Special Advise to the governor on electronic media, Beatrice Akpala has chides former House of Representative member, Hon Peter Igbodor for using the social media platform to promote grammer rather than encourage the people on the need to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2019 general elections.

She believed the social media has a huge role to play in taking Gov Ben Ayade’s to a better height as Cross River State governor and advised Hon Peter to take the lead in promoting his interest.

“Sir, while you Keep Showcasing How Sarcastic You Can Be Take The Lead And Show Us Practically What Needs To Be Done.

“You Call It Sycophancy We Call It Media Visibility. It’s Not Just About Speaking Grammar On This Platform It’s About Talking And Doing. We Are Watching Out For You Sir. Take The Lead And We Will Gladly Follow.

Meanwhile, former House of Representative member, Peter Igbodor, has charged the of Cross River State to always promote the interest of Governor Ben Ayade ahead of the 2019 elections by way of registering and obtaining the Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

Igbodor made this call on the backdrop that emphasis are shown on the publicity of the Biometric Verification Number (BVN) in most of the media, rather than use the platform to propagate the need to re-elect Gov Ayade for a second term in office in 2019.

“My thinking, while we do what we have to do to help our principal ayade, we must go beyond this sycophantic approach of publishing photos of bvn sensitization too numerous to see and a total burden to our data.

“We have a responsibility to market our principal outside this forum, that’s what we need right now. I believe none of us in this forum is against ayade, pls let us move out and do a better job.

“In all the PVC sensitization I have not heard or seen any publication on the wonderful job our principal is doing, pls my brothers and sisters let’s market a blessing to our state to the world.
