Senior special adviser on foreign affairs and diaspora, Abike Dabiri says he’s not happy with the low turnout of the electorate in Saturday governorship/house of representatives elections.
She stated this after casting her vote in Ikorodu, a suburb in Lagos State at 9:20am.
Dabiri rated the turn out of the electorate as not too impressive compared to the large turnout they witnessed in the Presidential/National Assembly elections.
“The turnout was low but I expect more people to come out and vote. Today’s voting can’t be compare in terms of the way people turned out massively for the Presidential/National Assembly election.
“I also admonished Nigerians to use the election as a way of voting their leaders into power and it won’t be right for them to seat at home and watch the whole process pass by.
