Hon Jarigbe Agom Says 2019 Elections Isn’t A ‘Do-Or-Die’ Affairs ;Challenges His Opponents On Debates

Ahead of the 2019 general elections, member representing Ogoja/Yala federal constituency at the National Assembly, Honourable Jarigbe Agom has called on his opponents to challenge him in a political debate rather than attacking his personality in an impolite manner.

He stated this on Friday in Abuja, when he held a brief chat with journalists, where he cautioned those behind some of the published stories circulating the social media that doesn’t portray his good image properly.

Hon Jarigbe, who will be coming in loggerheads with Mr Jude Ogbeche Ngaji of the All progressive Congress (APC) and other candidates, however, admonished his supporters to desist from exchanging words with them and insisted that the 2019 general elections is not a ‘do-or-die’ affairs.

” I don’t play my politics that way, i have been contesting elections and this is not a do or die affair”

“If a man says he can do ABC, let him come out and say it and not hiding under the shadows and throwing tantrums, i for one have never been a party to the dirty politics of personality attack and is not my style” he further stated

“I think the best thing to do moving forward is to engage ourselves in public debates where every key player will be seated and we talk to our people, that way all this social media jester-posing will end”.
