Helen Isamoh Egodo Parleys With Women Leaders In Biase State Constituency


As part of her in-house campaign to ensure that every member of the Biase constituency are carried along, Helen Isamoh Edogo, Peoples Democratic Party candidate for the Cross River State House of Assembly, met with the women leaders in the Constituency to discuss ways where she has been assured of their total support ahead of the 2019 elections.

Helen, who is presently working under the administration of Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, has remained a firm choice of candidate from the Biase State Constituency.

Having declared his intention to run under the platform of the PDP, the energetic and amiable woman, believed that she has the mental strength to represent the Constituency at the State Assembly.

“It’s God that decide who becomes a leader and I believe that nothing is impossible with Him, we shall realise our dream.

“I just want to assure you that you have a very viable and credible candidate so that you won’t be told that you are on the wrong side.And for many that knows me, you will understand that being part of the project you are on the right side.

“I really thank God for our mothers who have showed us the way so far. Some of them are already on the party level and we have Mrs Stella Atu. Those are the women that have been encourging us because they have served as mentors and role models to many of us.
The purpose of this gathering is to let you know that I Helen Isamoh Egodo will be vying for the seat of Cross River State House of Assembly in 2019 under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

“I want all women in this forum to take this project personally so as to ensure that this won’t just be a dream but a reality. All women are automatic delegates. Between Wednesday or Thursday I will be meeting with the Biase’s PDP; all the zones PDP members, and Principals of the party. Its going to be like a big gathering and all the women here will be present.

Meanwhile, some of the women leaders who were at the meeting on Monday bares their minds on Egodo’s choice of candidate for the Biase State Constituency and promised to give her their total support.

Honourable Rose Ometor, South Women leader, who spoke with Voplink media said that she would continue to get the support of the women in order to actualise her political ambitions in 2019 elections.

“We want to thank everyone for display that level of support to the Helen Isamoh’s political dream. In a nutshell, you are the one we have been waiting for and we are glad you have taking the decision to represent us. We will continue to give you our 100% supports from now till when you actualise your ambitions.

In the same vein, Mrs Ekon Egbe, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chapter, women representative, told VOPlink media that with Helen Isamoh Egodo, the people are assured of a quality representation at the State House of Assembly.

“I want to say that with God all things are possible. I also want us to understand that everything isn’t about money. Gone are the days when we sell our vote formoney. Good enough, we have been giving the mandate and it is in this view that we want to assure you that your dream will come to reality. The truth is that today we have gotting a good representation in you and we believe that you will move our Constituency forward come 2019 elections.

“We need a remarkable change which I know with you it’s very possible and achievable because for the past eight years we have little or nothing to be happy about in our Constituency.

In addition, Mrs Regina Umano, a politician from PDP, told Voplink Media that the Biase State Constituency are strongly behind Egodo’s political dreams and aspirations.

“My daughter dont give up and don’t be the type they will say let me settle you and you will go back.As you have come out, please come out bodly without fear of intimidation from any individual.

“We are going to give you our own support and prayers that will make you succeed.

Furthermore, Professor and Mrs Ibiaso, assured that all the PDP zonal members in Cross River State have adopted her as their choice of candidate and would continue to support her political dreams.

“His Excellency Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade was glad to inform us that women must represent Biaseconstituency.We are not coming and going back. Last week Wednesday she just met with the Umoh kingdom North andSouth.By Wednesday or Thursday we shall meet with the PDP members at the chapter level; which tells you that this is a serious business
