Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade has been giving the mandate to run for a second term by some concern Youths in the state.
The Youths in their large numbers gathered at the People’s Democratic Party National Secretariat at Wadata House in a rally to display their joy and appreciation on the growth and development achieved by Gov Ayade since he came into power in 2015.
The rally which was coordinated by Prince Michael Nku Abuo, JP, the Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Student Affairs and Youth Mobilization and the Director General of Cross River State Political Network, called on the Governor to maintain his seat of power until 2023 regardless of his oppositions, by assuring him of their total support come 2019 elections.
Placards and banners carried inscriptions like “Ayade Must Go On Till 2023” ; “Ayade is PDP and PDP is CRS”; “Ayade is tested and trusted”; “Ayade is the man come 2019”; “Youths, Women and Men of CRS Are for Ayade”; “Ayade Must and will win come 2019” ; “Ayade the people’s choice “, to mention a few, rocked the atmosphere at will.
According to Abuo, he says: ” In the midst of paid anti-Ayade protest at Wadata House creating a false impression of the Governor it was pertinent that the true voice of the people of Cross River State is known that AyadeMustGoOnTill2023.
“The vision of an economically viable Cross River State is possible with Governor Ben Ayade and it is common in every state, countries of the world that challenges will come and certain go in due time.
