Election: Odey Lauds Turnout, Peaceful Conduct Of Electorate

SUBEB chairman Dr Steve Odey has exercised his franchise in Saturday governorship/house of assembly elections in Cross River State.

Odey, who was the first person to be accredited by the adhoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) lauded the conduct of the election and turnout of the electorate.

He was said to have arrived his polling unit, with the code, 009, voting point 01, before any other electorate.

Meanwhile, in Yache, Yala Local government, election materials arrived at 7:20 am, at the rag center in Alifokpa

Materials were moved at the rag center, at 9:50 am to the various polling units across Yache.

Materials arrived Community Primary School Uchu, Yache, at 10:15 am. Accreditation commenced immediately.

At the time of filling this report, voting has commenced and the process is peaceful.

Security operatives were seen walking around the area to maintain orderliness
