Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has challenged Nigerians to heed to the clarion call by voting massively for all the candidates of his party in Saturday’s Governorship and House of Representatives elections.
Atiku, who lost in the Presidential election to the All Progressives Congress (APC)/incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari a fortnight ago, stated this in his official twitter handle @atiku on Thursday, where he commended the efforts of the electorates that voted for him.
He however, urged Nigerians not to be intimidated and vote for all PDP candidates on March 9.
“I express my profound gratitude for the massive votes you gave my party – the PDP, during the Presidential and National elections. As we move to the governorship & state elections on March 9, I urge you to come out in larger numbers to peacefully vote for PDP, from top to bottom,” he wrote on his Twitter page.
