President Christians and Muslims Interreligious Peace Foundation, Ambassador Dr Fatima Ibrahim has appealed to the Ambassador of Finland Agim Godwin to come to the aid of the people of Lawo Community in a bid help alleviate them of their sufferings.
Mrs Fatima stated that the people of Lawo community in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State of Nigeria are still living in their stone age lives in the present modern civilization.
She made this call when she met with Amb. Godwin at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja in Nigeria.
“Your Excellency. the people of Lawo communities are not only facing food and water shortage but every other amenities for human standard of living; these include medical and education for both the Children, Teens and Adults in the areas.
“The next step is to help the people through the None Governmental Organizations and through the foreign aides.
In a swift response, Ambassador Agim Godwin assured her that he’s committed to provide financial and other modalities in a bid to improve the lives of the people of Lawo Community.
