Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Edgal Imohimi has advised parents to caution their children on the need for them not to be used as touts during the 2019 general elections.
Imohimi gave this warning during a Town Hall meeting held in Surelere on Friday, where he spoke on the topic: “ Partnership with Community for Crime Prevention.’’
He complained bitterly on the incessant increase of youths joining cultism while also admonishing the parents to keep close tab on their children ahead of the 2019 Elections.
“The election year is approaching and it is time we started talking to ourselves. Do not allow politicians to come and use your children as touts.
“All you need to do is get your PVC and vote peacefully. Let us not allow some people come from elsewhere to disrupt the peace in Lagos.’’
