Stakeholders meeting of Cross River Women Emancipation Initiative (CROWEI) have inaugurated a new executive committees that would pilot the affairs of the group for another term.
The election which took place on Wednesday, June 28 at the Ministry of women affairs, Calabar, had in attendance Her Excellency, Dr Linda Ayade, who was represented by Dr Rose Eneji, Comm for Women Affairs Honey Mrs Stella Odey, Comm for Information Barr Mrs Rosemary Archibong, SA women affairs Mrs Ekama Awara, President CROWEI Mrs Kate Agba, State VP south Hon Tity Ndifon, among others.
It also saw the emergence of Mrs Lawrencia Effiong Ita JP as President, Mrs Torita Rosemary Odey as treasurer, Surveyor Dr Gertrude Njar MNIS as secretary, Hon Florence Bassey Inyang Mrs Elizabeth Okoi Bassey and a few to mention as members.
Matters relating on how to move the group forward was discussed while Odey appealed to the newly elected excos to be effective and efficient in the discharge of their responsibilities.
She also charged members to be punctual and thanked them for their availability.
