Cross River works Commissioner felicitates Ayade on his re-election

The Commissioner for works, Cross River State, Hon. Dane Osim Asu, has felicitated with the Governor, Prof Ben Ayade on his well deserved victory in last Saturday governorship elections in the state.

In a Press State titled, “congratulations to HE Senator Ben Ayade, on his well deserved victory”, Hon. Asu, stated, “on behalf of myself and my lovely family, I heartily felicitate with you, my boss, the digital and super performing governor of Cross River State, Senator Prof Ben Ayade, on the resounding victory, you recorded in the last Saturday, March 9, 2019 governorship elections in the state to sail smoothly to your second term.

On my part and as an appointee of yours, working directly under you and having the opportunity to know in detail all your projects and programmes as well as achievements, having the opportunity to occupy the enviable position of Commissioner for works, I had no doubt in my mind that your second term was as sure as birth and dead to mankind, and sun raising from the East and setting in the west.”

The Cross River Commissioner for works said that the governor has done so well to deserve a second term, reasoning that ” in the space of barely four years, you recorded unprecedented achievements hitherto unknown in the history of Cross River State” adding that the governor’s perfmance are self-evident and concrete and cut across all the very important sectors such as health, education, infrastructure, agriculture, urban and rural development, human/capacity development and empowerment and industrialization programme, among others.

“Cross River State under your very watch is moving from strength to strength in all ramifications, inspite of paucity of funds as a result of poor Federal allocation coming to the state; yet you are the number one salary paying governor in the country, and the most labour friendly governor in Nigeria.

Your performance speaks loudly to the roof top, and to all the nooks and crannies of Cross River State and reverberating to all parts of Nigeria, no wonder that your reelection was unanimously endorsed by Cross Riverians from across the State and as expressed in concrete terms during the March 9,2019 polls in the State.

The projects that you have completed and the ones that are ongoing, clearly indicates that your victory was sure because it was divinely approved so you can complete your important projects including the signature projects to place Cross River in a enviable height before your departure in 2023,” Asu emphasized.

The Cross River works.Commissioner therefore prayed that God Almighty continue to grant the governor the wisdom to remain focus on the task of deveoping and industrializing the state as well as make it self-sustaining and a mighty voice in the comity of Nigerian States and indeed Africa.

“Your Excellency, you have no doubt perform wonderfully well, and we know that you will equally perform greatly in the second term that you have already secured,” Osim Asu concluded.
