The protest which is currently taking place in the state capital on Thursday, saw some of the protesters holding placards to express their displeasure over yesterday attack on Fayose and believed that it was the ‘evil’ work of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in order to subdue his voice.
In a letter submitted to the Commissioner of Police in Cross River State, the party strongly condemn the brutality meted on Fayose in Ekiti State by the Police and other security agencies.
Stating that such actions if allowed will truncate the hard earned uninterrupted democracy in the country.
