Ahead of the 2019 general elections, the Cross River State Director General for Due process and price intelligence bureau, Hon.Barrister Alphonsus Ogar Eba has commenced mobilization and sensitization of his supporters across the State.
The support structure of the DG cuts across the 18 council areas of the state and operates under the aegis of the Okadigbo Vanguard.
In a sensitization meeting held in Yala, scores of supporters in the movement donning their trademark flags reaffirmed their loyalty and commitment to the group.
Addressing members of the movement, the DG advised the supporters to keep their eyes on the ball and never lose focus of the ideals and fundamentals that drive the Okadigbo vanguard.
He said: “Our leader, Senator Benedict Ayade has been consistent in his political ideology and in his principle of performance. And I wish to convey his goodwill to every member of his political family here gathered while stressing that in leadership, credibility is everything. And that is the selling point of our leader.”
Eba urged the members of the movement to brace up for the task ahead as the year 2018 will be a busy year for the group.
He urged members of the group to be mindful of agents of darkness that may want to create disaffection in the group.
The DG said the target to mobilise 50 000 votes for Ayade on the platform of Okadigbo Vanguard is a task that must be accomplished.
According to the DG, the Governor should score at least 1000 000 votes ( 1 million votes )
“There is no time to waste and we cannot afford to lose any ground to anybody or group. It is my hope that you will take our message of hope down to your people where most of you operate,” he said.
