The Special Adviser to the Governor on Electronic Media, Beatrice Akpala has lauded the efforts made by Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade towards putting an end to the reoccurring communal and inter-state clashes within the state
Gov Ayade in July paid a visit to the affected victims of communal and inter-state clashes in Ukelle/Izzi, where he assured the people of the safety of their lives and properties through the deployment of more security operatives within the axis.
The clashes which destroyed many houses and rendered people homeless was almost on the verge of escallating until the timely intervention of Gov Ayade and Ebonyi State Governor, David Nweze Umahi to the scene of the incident.
However, Beatrice in an apprecaition note on Wednesday, stated that the efforts of Ebonyi and Cross River State Governors have quenched the flame of violence within the two neighbouring communities.

Prof. Ben Ayade for your continued efforts at finding lasting solutions to the recurring communal and Interstate Crisis Bedevilling the Ukelle Nation. It would be recalled that when the Crisis erupted in June, 2017 between Wanihem and Wanikade Communities you delegated Your Deputy Governor who doubts as the Chairman Conflicts Resolution in the State to be at the forefront of Peace initiatives to find lasting peace and tranquillity in the Area.
