President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his condolence message to the families of the two Nigerians, Ambassador Abiodun Bashua and Professor Pius Adesanmi that died in the Ethiopian Airline flight that crashed on Sunday morning.
In a statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the President expressed total sadness over the crash that took the lives of Nigerians and 149 people on board.
He said “My thoughts are with the families and friends of these distinguished Nigerians and the other passengers and crew who lost their lives in the plane crash in Addis Ababa. May the Almighty Allah give them strength and fortitude to bear the loss.
Meanwhile, Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie has expressed sadness over the death of Pius Adesanmi, popular Nigerian professor and columnist, who died alongside 149 other passengers and eight crew members involved the Ethiopian Airliner plane crash.
