Once again President Mohamadu Buhari will tomorrow 26th June 2018, call in on Cross River State to commission the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital.
Mr. President will also be led by Governor Ben Ayade to commission the biggest rice seedling factory in Africa with a perfect automated irrigation method, the Calabar Rice City.
We sincerely thank Mr. President for finding Cross River as a choice in his transformation agenda in Nigeria, despite party differences between the two. Indeed even our own Goodluck Jonathan never paid such close attention to the State, otherwise most federal projects would not be lying unattended in the region.
The irony of this visit however is that, while it took the Federal Government more than 30 years to complete the Nigerian Navy Hospital in Calabar, Sen. Ben Ayade only needed less than 1 year to execute the Calabar Rice City, not just the rice city alone but the several completed and ongoing projects in the State.
Governor Ben Ayade has decided to make a name for himself as it is on record that at every time the president visits Cross River, he commissions a State Government project. It is not a matter of sycophancy, he who has done well deserves commendation that he may do even more.
Thank you Sen. Ben Ayade, the promise keeper.
Once again welcome Mr. President to Cross River State, we wish you a happy stay as Governor Ben Ayade takes you round the Serene environment to view the ongoing massive infrastructural build-out in the State.
