Stakeholders in Biase Constituency has thrown their weight behind Helen Isamoh Egodo to run for the seat of Cross River State House of Assembly for Biase Constituency in the 2019 general elections.
Egodo, who currently works under the administration of Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade as Special Assistant on Gender and Development, has remain the people’s favourite within his Constituency.
Having set her plan to run under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), some stakeholders and ward leaders have endorsed her to represent them as lawmaker in a bid to bring massive development and growth to the constituency.
In the words of Honourable Aguzikpe from Ikot Ana, he said: We are delighted to have Mrs Helen Isamoh Agodo as our representative for the Cross River State House of Assembly. We believe she’s just the right person to move the Constituency forward in terms of development.
In the same vein, Hon Ukam Bassey Obo, the Ward leader of Umon South Ward & former Vice Chairman of Biase LGA for 6 years said: “Helen Agodo is a respectful and God-fearing fellow. I am confident that she will actualise her political set dream no matter the obstacle.My advise for the Baise people is to ensure that they come out en masse and vote massively for her during the 2019 general elections.
Also Hon Agan Ogom, councillor representing Umon North Ward stated that there is no better candidate like Helen Edogo for the Biase Constituency as far as the Cross River State House of Assembly is concern. We only want to urge our people to use their vote and elect her into power in 2019.
In addition, Dr David Attoe stated that the Biase as a whole are proud of their daugther Helen & if given the mandate she would perform credibly well.
He however, stated that for as many that are willing to contest for the seat, are declare their intention.
