In a bid to create an easy passage and sustain a cordial relationship with the Constituency, Helen Isamoh Egodo, an aspirants contesting for the Cross River State House of Assembly, Biase State Constituency in 2019, held an interacting meeting with the Ward Chairmen & it’s Executive members across the 11 wards in Biase.
The meeting which had in attendance Honourable Austine Aidam, Chapter Chairman of Biase Local Government Area, Chair of Chairs Mr. Ekpei Oban. Ukam and Woman Leader, Mrs Betty Onnghene saw them discuss ways on how to promote the good image of Helen Egodo in her quest to actualise her political ambitions.
Besides, the PDP aspirant was giving the backing to represent the Biase State Constituency due to her worthy handwork.
In the words of Hon Aidam, he said: “We are really grateful for this privilege to have in our midst one of our daughters who has done so well in her office and we are proud of her.
That makes me to believe that if you give a son or daughter of Biase a duty to do, they will do it perfectly. Thank you for displaying that character of Biase for the world to see.
“We have heard of our daughter who has made herself available to serve Biase. Coincidentally, we have one Biase in the National Assembly to represent us there.
“Being a woman does not take anything away from them as far as politics is concern in Nigeria. Atleast we could how the Croatia leader, who apparently was a woman showed great support to their team by wearing their national team from start to finish of the just concluded World Cup in Russia. It shows you the kind of dedication and commitment the female folks posses
“PDP is a party that is so friendly and accomodate people in as much as you have the same mindset of the party.
“We are happy we have someone that has gone to the executive and done part of her duty and excell exceedingly well. And when one does well what comes next, promotion and Biase will not uphold that promotion because you have already done well where you have represented us.
“I will also advise you do more of synegising the various wards, Youths and party leaders so that you can create an interactive platform that will pave way for a successful outing during our primary that is slated for September this year.
“We wish you all the best and what we owe you is to give you prayers so that you can come out successful at the final day. One thing is certain, in Biase we are looking for the best hands and you happen to be one that they have shortlisted.
