Ahead of the 2019 elections,Governor Ben Ayade has charged all political appointees to urgently come up with a master-plan for the 2019 elections.
Governor Ayade use the opportunity to reassure Cross Riverians that the state is fully a PDP state, and he remains a core member of the party.
In a meeting with top appointees of his government, the governor said they must all meet to draw the road-map for the coming elections.
“In fact after this meeting you all must meet today to come up with the direction we must follow as the elections are coming “. We must come up with the strategies we must adopt. ”
On the importance of the meeting, he said it is very important so as to give the party, the Directions on how to go about the campaigns.
To this end, he charge them to ensure all the 2,227 polling units and 196 wards in the state are adequately covered in the master-plan they would come up with.
In his words:”You all must be responsible for your polling units. “
