In a bid to enlighten and create proper awareness on the use of the Permanent Voters Card (PVC), the National Association of Cross River State Students (NACRSS) have decided to embarked on a sensitization programme ahead of the 2019 General elections.
The sensitization programme is in collabotation with the female students leaders and southern/central and north central senatorial vice Presidents in Cross River State.
With the theme,”Cross River State Students Sensitization and Roadwalk on PVC, a Too For Choice Of Leaders”, is expected to kickstart from June 16 at the Mary Slessor roundabout in Calabar in all the 18 local governmemt area in the state.
The Sensitization Campaign is to enhance Youth Acquisition of PVC as well as Educating the Youths on the value of PVC as their power for choice of leaders instead of guns and Bullet.
In their word: “With this sensitization Exercise I strongly believe that the remote areas as well as the Urban communities will experience a Dramatic and peaceful election free society come 2019 General election in Cross River State.
