Hon Ogar made this statement via his facebook handle on Monday when he encourage the people to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration going on across the state.
He called on the people to avail themselves for the exercise in order to allow their vote for the right leadership come 2019 elections.
“All Cross riverians who are yet to register or have misplaced their card or changed address should take advantage of the two weeks window to “secure the Democratic weapon for state and national development.”
“Any Cross riverian who fails to collect the card would disenfranchise himself or herself during the forthcoming general elections,” he said.
“Without it, one would not be able to exercise his constitutional responsibility of casting his or her vote in the nation’s electoral process.”
Eba stressed the need for people of the state to shun all acts capable of breaching peace and unity.
